Howdy, folks. As some of you may recall, there is a virtual stroll (amble, arch...ery, ramble) from San Francisco to Japan going on. The first IRL listing has expired. The new IRL listing has dropped us to 3 participants from 11. That is fine but perhaps you meant to join up to log your walking (skipping, etc.) time for fun and forgot. Or perhaps you never heard about it. I am here to say there is still plenty of time to participate in the soon-to-be-legendary Peripatetic Persistent Pirate Puffins' Pacific Peregrination (2). I read a recent ask that was about jogging leggings, or jogging shorts, or something, possibly requesting pockets, possibly not, but one of the answers linked to a great website with multicolored jogging leggings in three different lengths, and all of them featured pockets. [more inside]

I was recently looking to add MeFites on Strava to give myself a bit of extra motivation, but noticed that only 20 people have Strava listed in their profile. So, being the proactive guy that I am, I put together Team Metafilter over there and am hoping some of you would like to join up with me. I am a runner, but cyclists and others are more than welcome.
