So when did lofi stop showing deleted posts? Is this a new feature or a temporary bug?

Is there an easy way to get to Metafilter's lofi version? I'm at work and must filter. But even a google search for "Metafilter lofi" can't get me there.

lofi.mefi works for the main Metafilter page, but not AskMe, MeTa, etc. More inside.

Why does this post have an extra link in LoFi but not on the blue?
It looks like the missing link is the whole point of the post.

MeFi lo-version...used to have it bookmarked for viewing on my Pocket PC, but somehow lost it. Does it still exist?

A post just vanished off the front page. What was that about? And did anyone else see it? (It was called "The Cost".)

Is there an equivalent of lofi.mefi for metatalk? Miguel's rambling novel-writing-question seems to have been canned, and I want to see a) What Matt said about it, and b) what all the snippy comments after mine looked like. How about it?

The coment count for this thread is two higher on the 'lofi' page than on the regular front page. Is this a bug or did Matt do a little discrete comment-deletion (I admit I go to 'lofi' at least once a day for its 'bonus content' - nudge nudge, wink wink)

When viewing Metafilter's home page using Mozilla 1.3 or Netscape 7.1, the background/font colors change from white text on blue, to a white background with black text when I log in. This is very painful for me to view. I've tried deleting cookies, resetting preferences, etc. Or is this is a new "feature"?

Is there a lofi for MeTa? If not, what happens to posts that get deleted (like the one that was just here, for example?) Is there any archive, anywhere? For that matter, what exactly is the point of Lofi? Sorry if this has all been explained before - I did search, but couldn't find anything.

in today's theme, on mozilla 1.0 (sorry, but that's the latest version in debian stable/testing) textareas appear as white on white. i have a general (ie desktop) white on black colour scheme, but mozilla is configured to have a default of black on white. ps my mefi config uses the "other" colour-scheme.

are all threads on lofi supposed to be deleted? i thought the change yesterday was that comments remained in deleted threads, but today i've noticed that i cannot post to any thread on lofi, even if they are active on the main page.

Lofi Mefi's style sheet suggests a text and background color for body (black on white). This is fine unless some moron (i.e., me) has default colors of mint green text on a black background with white links. The mint green and black background are overridden but the white links end up on your white background.
Assuming a user's default link color is blue could lead to unreadable links, so please add at least colors for links (there already is a color on a:hover, but no background). (Alternately, if you want, remove all color suggestions from the style sheet.)

Re: LoFi MeFi, I really like it, but also keep forgetting to use it. I've got a huge bookmarks list, and still manually type most of my addresses, for some reason. Could this be added to the prefs screen, so those of us who want to use it just get redirected?

I whipped up a quick user stylesheet to be used with lofi MetaFilter. I don’t know if it works with anything but Opera, but here’s a screenshot. What do you think?
