I Married a MeFite! On Monday, July 27, at the Shelby County Courthouse in Columbiana Alabama, MetaFilter members BitterOldPunk and elizard were united in unholy matrimony. They plan to stay in Alabama until elizard can't stand it one more fucking instant and then abscond back to Canada, where BOP is expected to bitch about the weather and the price of cigarettes. This never would have happened had it not been for MetaFilter and MetaChat. Oh, internets. Is there nothing you can't do? Thanks, MetaFilter, for being a place that brings people together, sometimes for real real.
