I'm looking for a quote I'm pretty sure I read on MeFi years ago. My memory doesn't do it justice, but it basically said that until a man is 30, he still believes he could work out constantly, get buff, and become a Batman-like person saving the world. (There was more to it than that.) Does anyone know what I'm talking about, and can you link to the quote? Thanks!

The PIRG post might be fantastic, or it might be crap. It might be the best post of the month, or just pure drivel. I can't tell. Any chance an admin could go in and clean up the smart quotes issue?

Quote pony? Whereby a user can quote another post without having to copy/paste and add italics. Gut feeling that if this was easy and feasible it would already exist, but you never know...

Eek, I tried to name this thread The ending of "The Good Thief" and the AskMe RSS feed truncated it before my first double-quote which means people will click it and be spoiled! O please, please fix it!

Discussion of y2karl's small quote posting style in this thread got me thinking. I wonder what a pie chart or Venn diagram showing a breakdown of his contributions to MeFi into quotes, small quotes, alt-text quotes, his own words, etc. would look like.

Is there any call for a "quote" tag? I think threads would look spiffy(er) if the style of quoted text were consistent. For instance:
johnnyEloquent: "Don't bet against yourself, you risk winning."

Hope this isn't a doublepost
