I like to post AskMes at around 10 am on Tuesdays. If I have my post ready at 9:15 or 9:30, I'm prevented from posting until it's been a full 168 hours since my last post. I think the one-post-a-week rule works really well, but it would be nice if it were a little less strict. Would you consider changing it from 168 hours between posts to 160 hours or 162 hours or even 166 hours? [more inside]

Hi, I'm working on a pro bono asylum case and I need a NYC-area translator for Fulani/Pular, a dialect of Guinea. We've tried the available services without much luck and I thought as a last ditch attempt, to try askmefi. However, I asked a question last week (before this translator thing had really become an issue). Would it be possible to post a second question? I can promise not to ask a question next week.

Any chance there could be a bulleted add-on to the "Doh!" page that states you've posted an AskMeFi question within a week by telling me how much time left I have to wait until I can ask again? I could swear I only have seconds left, but there's no way to tell.
