As commander of an aircraft carrier battlegroup, I would be interested in posting anonymously in threads on nautical topics. Would it make much difference if:
a) The ships exist solely in my head
b) The ships exist solely in my bathtub
...and as a corallary, would some of my hand-drawn still-lifes of these ships have any influence on the respect accorded me by other users?
