TextAds don't click through on Konqueror 2.2.1 (KDE 2.2.2)

Seems odd posting a plain bug report in Meta. Anyway I think the title says it all. This is Debian box running the latest "testing" code. I have no idea why only TextAds fail (everything works fine - I've been using this for a week or two now, on and off).

Ah. It's everything in that right hand gizmo area. Makes sense (in a strange software kind of way).

i'm using konqueror 2.2.1 on kde 2.2.1 on woody and haven't found any problems. perhaps you should try reinstalling konqueror. might have run into a problem some where on your install.

Konq has some weird CSS issues, I've found. It's not particularly standards-compliant. Better than, say, NS 4, but not as much as IE or Moz.

actually, i have found after upgrading from konqueror 2.1 to 2.2 most of the css bugs are gone. they fully support css1 and have partial support of css2.

Hmmm. Reinstalled (I'm just apt-getting, not from source) and it's just the same. Only unusual thing is that the crypto stuff won't install (two packages conflict, both having the CA certs and I don't need SSL enough on this machine to fix it) - but that's a separate .deb so I then re-did a clean install of just konqueror (and it still doesn't work). Ah well.

KDE isn't helping the economy. Buy XP.
