Help me find a post/comment with a link to a hipstery sunglasses place. January 7, 2011 1:31 PM Subscribe
Help me find a post/comment: The post/comment had a link to a place that sold sunglasses. The people modeling the sunglasses were all kind of hipstery. The post/comment was made on/before late September 2009.
I used a pic from the site to show the person who cut my hair how I wanted it to look, and FB leads me to believe I uploaded a pic with the haircut I ended up getting (and liking) in late September 2009, so I'm pretty sure I found the site with the pic on it before then. Thanks.

If it's not in the thread ODiV linked, and if you still have the original picture you took to the hair place, you could try TinEye.

hipstery
Tonight..on the Hipstery channel:
Ironic Pawn Stars: - A pair of PBR stained shutter glasses rumored to be worn by Dov Charney, how much are they worth? How much will our Pawn Stars negotiate down after both them and the seller hear the astonishing price?
Nostradamus: the ultimate hipster? - Sure, you were into that band before they were cool, but were you into that band before they existed?
Hipster Hilter, the TRUE story - New, Nazi era documents reveal the furhur's preferences for organic food, pants size.

Today I bought a bio of Cliff Burton (about time one was published frankly) and inside it's revealed that he shopped at my place of employment a few months before his untimely death. Eerie, dude.

You'll have to be more specific; you're on MetaFilter after all.

He really didn't. I read "hipster" and "sunglasses" and then did a search of Juliet Banana's history.

I would be insulted except as soon as I read "hipster" and "sunglasses" I thought "I bet he's looking for Giant Vintage" and "I bet he found it from a comment/post I made." And also because I long ago decided that time spent being all insulted over being thought of as a hipster was time I could better spend riding my bike and drinking cheap beer in dive bars.

Freewheeling singlespeed. Though nobody uses the word fixie anymore, it's a fixed gear or a track bike (provided it's an actual track bike). Just thought I'd let you know before you embarrass yourself further.

Autocorrect changed "freewheel" to "freewheeling," obviously sensing my bike's carefree madcap happy-go-lucky view on life.
