Need help finding a MetaTalk thread. I could swear I saw a thread about a MeFi homepage appearing on a monitor in the background in a scene in either a movie or TV show. I was thinking it was possibly the TV show Numbers, but so far my searches of MeTa have not been successful. [more inside]

Sorry if this has been addressed before, but I am logged in and see ads from fmpub.net on the front page. The ad presently displayed invites me to "chew the fat at serious eats". It's the same ad after multiple refreshes also. While I am a fan of bacon, I don't normally see ads when I'm logged in. This is all the more curious given that I'm using adblock plus and don't usually see ads on any site. Is this a temporary thing, or is bacon now an integral part of the site?

There are so many interesting relationships here. I would enjoy a search function that queried two users and parsed them for shared threads. The output would contain all the threads that both user A and user B posted to--possibly with other criteria, such as key words? If this has been suggested before, I haven't been able to find it.
