Team Metafilter on Kiva
The team is going strong with 340 members who made almost 4000 loans totaling over $115,000. Great! There is room for improvement regarding two slight issues though. [more inside]

The Kiva team is now 301 members and $73,000ish of total lending. As a purely online lender pool it has maintained its position in the top five lending clubs for three-and-a-half years. It has been enshrined as the second most successful campaign for Kiva, but it has stopped growing. What could be next? Should it keep going? [more inside]

The Metafilter group on Kiva.org has slipped to 7th place in new members this month. That's after two years and 233 members lending $42,250. Metafilter was number one for 10 consecutive months. Please help make Metafilter the best team ever.
Giving is a smile that comes back
The Metafilter Kiva Team has been in existence for just less than one year. In that time 190 people have made $19,225 in loans - for grocery stores in Cambodia to rock music outlets in Palestine the effect of your loans are felt around the world in significant ways. Still, it represents just a handful of MeFites: less than two-tenths of one percent of the total members of the site. [more inside]
