On our user pages, the two numbers tracked for favorites count different things. The first one is a count of how many individual comments I have favorited. The second number is a count of how many times everyone has favorited a comment of mine. The description of that second number, "Favorited by others," is sort of misleading, I think, because it doesn't count individual comments the way the first number does. [more inside]

The flip-side of "Most favorited posts of the year": Last year, I typed up a little list of comments I particularly liked that I thought were overlooked. It was fun! I just went through my favorites from 2009, and did so again. I would like this to be a thread where you share comments that you liked, but which you feel may have gotten little notice from others. The Favorited By Others tally on the user profile page seems to include comments which were later deleted, and are not viewable through the hyperlink. One would expect direct correspondence between number and linked page.

This has probably been asked for before ... could there be a way to list items you have posted, either posts or comments that have been favorited within the last X amount of time? I have noticed that the favorite count goes up by one or two on my user page, but it's sometimes not obvious what has changed, and it ends up being some post I made 4 months ago.
