Broken RSS Feeds
It appears that the RSS feeds are down. Obviously I can still get to the rest of the site, but Firefox's Live Bookmark feature is coming up with "Blank" instead. Other bookmarks are correctly updating. When I try to browse to the correct location, I time out. Started around noonish today, EST, I think. Before I wiped away my MetaFilter list by requesting the bookmark, the most recent story was the one about Ellen Feiss. I know this is happening to MeTa, MeFi, and AskMe.
AskMe RSS Problem
For some reason the Ask Metafilter RSS feed quit working for me a few days ago. I'm reading it through Bloglines and the last post which shows up is from November 22, 2006 at 6:54am. Is anyone else seeing this issue?

Er, is there a problem with the AskMe RSS feed? I haven't gotten anything in at least two days, despite MeFi and MeTa feeds working fine.

Borked last night and Borked the night before/Going to get Borked tonight if we never get Borked any more./When we're Borked we're sick as we can be/'Cos "Syntax Error on line 1" is much too much for me.

Sigh. I think the ask.metafilter rss is borked again.
I get this message:

Is there a problem with the AskMe RSS Feed?
Is it just me, or is the AskMe RSS Feed reported to be broken on BlogLines more often than not?

Is anyone else getting "Connection Failure" from the AskMe RSS feed?

The metafilter rss feed is broken. It just gives a 301 redirect to itself.

RSS Feed Issues
The main Metafilter RSS feed is currently not well-formed XML, which is causing some odd displays in different feed readers. The feed validator says "invalid token", and my best guess is that it's the unescaped greater-than in this post's title.

MeFi RSS Problem
Is there a problem with MetaFilter's main feed at the moment? No new posts have come up in my feed reader for over twelve hours. This is the first time it has happened for me too.

Did the new AskMe ponies break AskMe RSS? I get invalid XML errors in T-Bird. Browsing to the XML file results in broken badness.
Consecutive Non-Spaces Are Breaking RSS Feed
Consecutive non-spaces in MeFi descriptions. See the title tag (the repeating dollar signs)? That gets translated into a headline in the MeFi RSS feeds. It's currently breaking the layout on my RSS page. Can we please not do this?
Bugs in Atom Feed
The MeFi atom feed is throwing a parsing error.

How about a proper RSS 2.0 feed? The existing .91 feed doesn't provided authors or even datestamops. Also, the existing ATOM feed doesn't validate properly and doesn't work in the two RSS readers I use (NetNewsWire and Thunderbird).
