By request, I updated my Metafilter Stats for the first time in two years. User growth, Top 20 lists, and daily stats are all current, as of last week. [more inside]
Metafilter Statistics through November 2004 have been updated! Tons of interesting new activity...
Metafilter Stats have been updated through February 2004. The Passion of the Christ and same-sex marriage threads broke the top 10 most commented threads, within a day of each other. Despite that, February's thread/comment activity was the lowest since August 2001, but pretty impressive considering we've only added about 40 new users in the last 12 months.
Metafilter stats are online. Traffic dropped only slightly from September's unbelievable growth, and the jump in user signups was minimal compared to the previous month. Days from September and October dominate the top 20 charts.
Metafilter stats for August are up. A huge drop in threads and comments last month because of the Metafilter vacation. Despite the vacation time, the user ranks swelled heavily thanks to Matt's hard work getting signups turned back on.
Thread/Comment and User Growth statistics are up for July. This is the first month that threads and comments actually dropped slightly, largely because new user signups are still disabled. Also, we broke 10,000 user IDs yesterday. Congratulations, Ricci.
Metafilter stats have been updated for the month of June. This month, we see that although user growth has leveled off, front-page threads and comments are still growing fast.
New Metafilter stats are online. Check out the top 20 charts, the user growth statistics, and the thread/comment stats. The downtime barely put a dent in all the increased activity from the Kaycee threads.
New stats for last month have been added, and the top 20 charts reveal that Neale has slyly been using an old thread as his own personal blog to compete with the remarkable activity from the 123CheapHosting thread. Cute.
