Google Reader is displaying MeFi in a weird way

In Google Reader breaks in text are displaying as brbr and single quotes are not appearing. This is in Firefox and in Chrome (Win7) but not on my phone (Palm Pre).

Examples:

"Figuring out a career path: Im an undergrad student who has a passion for interviewing people and getting their stories. I also want my carer to help make the world a better place and feel that I would be happiest if I could see my impact directly. What careers or jobs might I look into?brbrJournalism is an obvious possibility but there are many types and Im not sure which is suited to me."

"Id like to buy a clock for my husband, but I dont have any idea where to start.brbrMy budget is around $1000 but Im flexible in either direction. He doesnt like super modern looking stuff, so something very traditional or even rustic would be better. Hes so much better at giving gift than me, that I would love to surprise him with something great. Thanks!"

I'm pretty sure this is a Google Reader or Feedburner problem. We haven't changed anything on this end, and this problem has been happening intermittently for the past 24 hours or so. Sorry about the problem, but I'm not sure what we can do from this end.

The post you mentioned is from yesterday morning and all of the mangled posts I've seen are from around that time. A couple people emailed about this problem this morning and I've been watching the feed closely today. I haven't seen this happen again, so I'm guessing it was just a temporary glitch with Google Reader or Feedburner.
