Big speed increase, though! Is it Cold Fusion or SQL Server that sped up? Anyway, thanks! posted by nicwolff at 6:40 PM on January 29, 2004
Yeah, that should be gone now. Let me know if you find new errors from here forward. posted by mathowie at 6:40 PM on January 29, 2004
Since you asked:
Error processing CFX custom tag "CFX_JSpellCheck".
The CFX custom tag "CFX_JSpellCheck" was not found in the custom tag database...

metafilter, metatalk, ask metafilter, a whole lotta nothing, sxswblog, blogroots, metafilter.net, and ticketstubs should all be working ok now, lemme know if you find errors.
I'll fix the spellcheck thing tonight posted by mathowie at 7:23 PM on January 29, 2004
Dang. I was hoping it meant the new AskMe functionality was going to be slotted in. Still planning that, Matt? posted by stavrosthewonderchicken at 8:20 PM on January 29, 2004
spellcheck fixed.
With the CF upgrade, a lot of new stuff will be coming down the pike. I'm hoping to have ask mefi done and up by etech in a week and a half posted by mathowie at 8:24 PM on January 29, 2004
The MeFi family's doing much better than orkut.com right now...

Thanks, mathowie, we appreciate all your efforts to keep the place(s) spiffied up! posted by Lynsey at 8:45 PM on January 29, 2004
Like stavros, I had visions of seeing a brand-new AskMe when the errors faded from my eyes, but appreciate the work in keeping things up to date anyway. posted by dg at 8:50 PM on January 29, 2004
NAG NAG NAG. You people are like a bunch of old women. posted by mr_crash_davis at 9:11 PM on January 29, 2004

Crash: you have what we Portuguese call, in our own quaint language, issues. ;) posted by MiguelCardoso at 9:22 PM on January 29, 2004
P.S. Thanks for the gentle cattle prod, specialk420: my silly remark was indeed in very bad taste. Sorry about that, my friend. :( posted by MiguelCardoso at 5:49 AM on January 30, 2004

I just received an error while trying to view this askmefi thread: http://ask.metafilter.com/mefi/5006
The error:
Server Error
The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request.
Could not connect to JRun Server.
Hit back, went in again and it worked fine. This is with Mozilla. posted by SteveInMaine at 11:32 AM on January 30, 2004
I've gotten SteveInMaine's error a bunch of times over the past 30 min or so. Not sure if it signifies anything. posted by rushmc at 7:05 PM on January 30, 2004
I have been getting that same error sometimes (in AskMe only). Refreshing one or more times makes it go away. Firebird 0.6.1/XP if it matters. posted by dg at 3:32 AM on February 1, 2004
