This date-rape thread is broken.
Matt's really basically the landlord, inn't he? He's not around all that much, doesn't add much to the discussion when he's here, he just kind of owns the architecture, but occasionally you scream 'THE PLUMBING'S BUSTED IN 102 AN' THERE'S WATER ALLOVERDAPLACE!' and you just hope he shows up.

Both have been fixed. This happens when people post bad HTML, then when the page goes into the one month old archive, it gets rendered as a flat HTML file.
For one reason or another, a really awful chunk of non-standard HTML chokes the flat file parser thing and you get these malformed files saved.
I fixed the offending comments and re-rendered the old archive pages.
