Meetup in Toronto, Nov. 11, 2005

Toronto MeFites, let us convene and imbibe. I propose 8 p.m.-ish on the night of November 11 for the time, and the Bishop & Belcher (on Queen West between John & Peter) as the venue, but feel free to reject my arbitrarily selected time and/or venue and appoint your own through some messy and quarrelsome yet democratic process. Time and place are trivial matters compared to the real issue at stake, namely: will Dobbs appear or will he do his usual tease & withhold?

Hey now! I tried to meet loquax in your first link there. He was the no show--chose a DVD over my company!

As for the 11th, I'm currently a no-go but that could change.

Sounds jolly good. I like the B&B.

(FWIW, I think everyone - well those somewhat centrally located - should look out the window at 11am Friday the eleventh to see the Lancaster bomber fly overhead for the Remembrance Day ceremonies. The plane is unlike anything else I've seen in Toronto.)
