I probably shouldn't be able to mark my own comments as fantastic.
Meh, on rare occasions people figure out the answer to their own problems and it's useful. Have you seen any actul abuse, or are you objecting the the feature in theory?

It's my understanding that flagging delivers to the admins not just the content of the flag but the user who flagged it, no? If so, it would be pretty hard to abuse this without flagging yourself as someone asking for a timeout or worse.

I think this is the problem with being able to mark your own posts as fantastic.
