My timezone doesn't work now.

Mine does (in MeFi) except that the time zone is mislabeled: it's British Summer Time (BST) here now, one hour later than GMT. The system doesn't account correctly for daylight savings time (it was out by an hour during the time that we'd put our clocks forward, a week ahead of the US doing the same.) Timezone selection has never worked in MetaTalk and AskMetafilter, as far as I know.

Is it related to my ZIP code not being in the database? Why doesn't Metafilter recognize Newton, MA?

Mine works now I fixed it (with cbrody's errr codicil). Is not recognising when Brits change times a bug? I say yes. Squish it.

Must be pretty confusing where you live.

Whew. I thought things seemed okay here in Austin.

MayorCurley, did you put in your old (021xx) ZIP code or your new one with a "5" or "4" in it? Matt might be working from a pre-2001 database.
