I'm already committed to seeing the Ex Models play in Brooklyn on Friday. I'm inclined to wonder about a decentralized, multi-show meet-up extravaganza....if any mefites are interested in a beer and the Ex Models show, in addition to those interested in Ravi and/or Mikey, that is.

I happen to have an in with the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra.

It's a big band (no pun intended) with rotating chairs. I'd imagine lots of friends and family have "in's." That said, if you can get an advance of the new Jim McNeely album, I'll be impressed.
