Question resolution pony?
About a month ago you asked a question on Ask MetaFilter:

The Numinati
Seeing this response by the original poster made me recall this little pony request. The poor little thing has been left outside in the rain for a fortnight. [more inside]
Feature request: mark original poster comments
Feature request: Some visual way to easily tell where the original poster has posted a follow-up comment. Often in reading an Ask MeFi question, I have to scroll back up and down a few times to get the name of the original poster and then do a search to see if they posted a follow-up.
Perhaps a different color for the original poster? It works well for comments marked "best answer". (Oh - and a pony)
Request: a way to mark our questions as resolved.
I'd love to see a "conclusion" feature to many of the askme questions. For instance, even if it's months later, I could go into a question I asked and mark it "concluded" and give a quick summary of what happened when I followed the advice.
Once someone marks something "concluded" it would go to its own "conclusions" RSS feed, which we could subscribe to if we want to know "the rest of the story" on many of the questions asked.

AskMe Followups?
ponyrequest: was thinking, how about some sort of followup feature to askme? there are some questions that a few weeks after they are asked, i wonder...what ever happened? (mi)
"follow-up icon"
random request: there should be something like a clickable "follow-up icon" that connects old original threads with eventual follow-ups
Let OP update closed posts in AskMe
This is perhaps indulgent, but it would be potentially useful in ask.mefi if the instigator of the thread could post just once after the thread has been frozen. Some questions resolve after several months, and it would be a possible benefit for those googling for information to see closure, i.e. "this is what ended up working the best, x was right" or what have you. Perhaps this is just imposing a false narrative closure on messy reality.
followup.metafilter.com would be a nice pony
PrinceValium is right: followup.metafilter.com would be a nice pony. (more)
"follow-up" mechanism?
Have you ever considered a "follow-up" mechanism of some sort?
