Closure? Let me have my own!
I think this is where I ask for my very own pony. Re: AskMe updates. [more inside]
Hooray for highlights!
When did you start putting that little highlight bar on AskMe comments that are from the original asker? Kickass! Thank you... [more inside]
Mark askee answers
Mark askee answers. (Meaning, highlight answers posted by the user who asked the question in askmefi). [more inside]

Visually distinguish the OP's comments? (At least in AskMefi.) [more inside]
The Numinati
Seeing this response by the original poster made me recall this little pony request. The poor little thing has been left outside in the rain for a fortnight. [more inside]
This is not the answer you are looking for.
Is using the "best answer" function to clarify the original question or to offset the OP's own comments from the pack really the best use of that feature?
Feature request: mark original poster comments
Feature request: Some visual way to easily tell where the original poster has posted a follow-up comment. Often in reading an Ask MeFi question, I have to scroll back up and down a few times to get the name of the original poster and then do a search to see if they posted a follow-up.
Perhaps a different color for the original poster? It works well for comments marked "best answer". (Oh - and a pony)
Highlight AskMe responses by OP
In AskMeFi, there is first the question. Then maybe 5 replies down there is a response by the person who asked the question. But they don't often identify themselves as the original poster, and it is not always obvious that it is the original poster and if I am down the page I have forgotten their username. Is there a way to highlite responses by the original poster? Or a way to make them stand out?
Let OP update closed posts in AskMe
This is perhaps indulgent, but it would be potentially useful in ask.mefi if the instigator of the thread could post just once after the thread has been frozen. Some questions resolve after several months, and it would be a possible benefit for those googling for information to see closure, i.e. "this is what ended up working the best, x was right" or what have you. Perhaps this is just imposing a false narrative closure on messy reality.
