Given all the great AskMefi questions about playlist suggestions, would there be an interest in an official Metafilter Spotify account with playlists made based on each question? [more inside]

In the spirit of drawing attention to all the great stuff on this site, I thought I'd remind people of the amazingly talented people who hang out on MeFi Music. (Yes it's a place!) I thought that it might be an idea for people to link to playlists they're created or songs they've favourited, and we can have a whole thread of all the great tunes people have created and shared FREE OF CHARGE ARE YOU KIDDING ME with all of us. There have been a lot of AskMe posts lately (just a few examples) asking for music recommendations, and I'm once again thinking how much I'd like to listen these songs while I walk. Like on a playlist I could easily download and listen to offline, on my Android phone. [more inside]

Mefi Music pony request: can we have an "add to playlist" link directly from the pages 1) listing all songs by a particular user 2) listing all songs with a particular tag. [more inside]

Two requests for Mefi Music: 1. It would be nice to have usernames on the tag results page. (e.g. acoustic) This would help users find other songs by the same artist. 2. The frontpage tends to load my system because of all of the flash files. Would it be possible to have everything show up on one playlist like the "tagged with" pages or the user pages? [mi]

What's the best way to listen to all the songs currently on the front page of music.metafilter.com as a continuous playlist? Any suggestions? Is there something I'm missing? If there really is no way to do this currently, could I suggest some dynamically generated playlist page, that operates like existing playlists, but takes you through, say, the last 50 tracks.

I'm searching for an old AskMe thread where the OP requested a list of indie-rock/indie-pop music that would be good for children. I've already searched tags and AskMe search for various combinations of the terms "kids", "children" "indie" "music" and "playlist" and have not come up with the thread I am remembering. It was not the ice-cream-social thread or the hip-hop for a 10-year-old thread. I seem to recall it was from about 1-2 years ago.

In the projects RSS feed, the URL points to the submitted project, not the projects page, so in order to vote or comment I have to go to projects and find the link manually. Also, it would be nice if on the music page, you could favorite and playlist songs right from the main listing, rather then just on the individual song pages, so that if you're listening to a bunch of songs, in order, you could favorite without needing to change pages.
