Where is the place to discuss deletion policies?

In the context of a discussion about Trump's hot mic tape, and whether this reflected common experience or not, I recently had a comment deleted. (I can't don't it in the thread or in my activity or recent favorites etc, so I assume it's gone.) [more inside]

More explicit guidelines on what makes a good post?

This article by a closeted trans woman has been posted three times, and deleted three times, after a few early comments on the first posting largely agreed with another trans woman's critical take. The deletion reasons have repeatedly cited "a number of elements" that "will make it really hard to have a good discussion". I would appreciate the mods or the general community saying what those elements are, and perhaps expanding the post guidelines to provide a permanent reference. Implicit social norms beyond the obvious "don't be a jerk" are exhausting to parse, especially in a text-only medium. Whatever was objectionable about the article, please just spell it out. A Policy Question

Can anyone explain the policy of not notifying an anonymous poster why or even that a request is denied?

Are snarky one-liners being deleted in the Blue?

Is there a new policy now where Matt/Jess/cortex are deleting comments in the Blue that are a bit snarky/one-linerish? Because I remember a one-liner in the Lyndon Johnson thread that's no longer there. Is that because Matt thinks that the first few comments set the tone for the thread, so ya'll are trying to keep things on-topic from the get-go? BTW, I'm well aware that I basically set myself up here for a rapid succession of one-liners. Have at it, folks.

link requests, askmefi

I ask trepidly: What say Mefi on link-requesting AskMeFi posts? Are they appropriate for the scene?

Deletion objection

Not really so hypothetical. I think the question should stand.

9/11 anniversary special policies?

There is an onslaught coming. In nine days it will be the one year anniversary of 9/11. What is our policy with FPP on that day? Are there guidelines for such "busy" day?
