DaShiv, do you ever get tired of people praising your excellent pictures?

Oh, fine then. Show us how it's done! Good show!

Also, DaShiv's camera needs to drink much more. ;) /diana moon glampers

Great pics, wow. And you made us all look twenty-something -- a genius, I tell ya!

You're not twenty-something? Hot damn!

Looks like fuuuuun.

And thanks for the shoutout!

Wow, that's the most attractive MeFi group I've ever seen. (And Occhiblu looks like a saint with that pose. I swear I've seen it in Titian or something).

There were complimentary comics?!?

That was a freakin' awesome evening, and DaShiv deserves credit for making me look human: I'm usually about as photogenic as the inside of someone's gallbladder.

Just for the record, everyone else in these pictures? They are twentysomethings, and even more hot in person.

Can I just say thank you for not using Flickr? (can't stand that site.)

DaShiv's gotta a future in Hollywood, what with his human-ating lens technique.

My girl teenager loooooved the comic books. (She dresses and styles her hair more or less like an anime character.)

I am not a twenty-something. Jury's still out on the sainthood thing, though.

My girl teenager
This particular little factoid about ClaudiaCenter led me to ingest not just my shoe but my entire leg up to the hip in front of ikkyu2, whir and occhiblu.

It was awesome. It was like I started bad and then kept driving straight off the cliff into a plane full of wrong that then crashed into a bus full of stupid, with the whole thing erupting into a giant apocalypse of idiot-covered moron.

Cool! Claudia, which comics did she read and/or enjoy? Teenage girls are often the most elusive market for comic books.

I've got to show up for one of these to put a stop to such talk.

Hey rookies, here's a hint - you're supposed to grab Da Shiv's camera at some point and get some shots of him with it. He'll let you. And shooting with his setup will be like getting to drive a corvette down to the corner for milk.

I love how DaShiv is so modest he calls his works of art 'snapshots'. I am still astounded at the miracle he worked with the photo of me in the Vegas set.

I love these meetup picture posts. It is so wierd to realize that all you names on the screen really are really people. Those were really excellent photos, DaShiv.

It's clear that I'm never going to get a shoutout at one of these things unless I offer to paypal someone $5 to do it.

It's also clear that I am a sad and pathetic little man because I am kinda tempted to do so. Who knew I so desperately needed to be faux-loved?
