Every once in a while, while reading MeFi on my phone, the heading will freak out. Like this. [more inside]
Anyone else see a weird display bug with this comment? In both IE and Firefox, the "posted by" line (and only the posted by line) for that comment (and only that comment) is not indented at all. I'm not familiar with the Metafilter code, but when I view source it looks like all the rest of the comments.
Is it just me or are the tags on this page so small as to be useless? They look like they're embedded in 100 small tags. Safari.
My comments, how I love thee, let me count the bugs.
In Safari 1.3 the background of the top nav panel on AskMe is in MeTa grey rather than green.
Everytime I view a MeFi/MeTa/AskMe page, it brings me to the first time I viewed the page that day. I can reload the page and see new posts and/or comments, but if I leave that page everytime I go back it displays the first load of the page, not even the most recently viewed version. [MI]
I love Christmas as much as the next guy, but AskMe appears to be displaying December 25th three times at the moment, although no questions seem to be duplicated.
In Windows XP version 2002, using either Mozilla 1.1 or IE6, renders Metafilter with really big letters that make reading the site difficult. Anyone got any solutions?
There's a little image (right_banner.gif) at thet top right corner of every page that's not loading for me. It's not broken, it's just not loading. I don't know if I've ever even noticed it before. Is it showing up for anyone else?
I wanted an HTML tag to appear in my post, so I typed ampersand-lt-semicolon and ampersand-gt-semicolon for the karats. Looked fine in preview, but they got converted to karats -- and therefore invisible comments -- for the post.
