announcement: non-logged in users can no longer see contact info.
I made a slight change to the user pages. Logged in users see everything as it was before, but non-logged in users don't see any contact information except for websites URLs. I had long worried about the spam thwarting measures I have employed not being good enough, and I've also been hearing about non-members hassling members for memberships, posting, etc. So with the new change, non-members won't be able to harvest addresses, or send you an email (unless you've got it listed on your homepage URL somewhere), and they won't know your AIM/ICQ or location.
AIM Username on Profile Pages Bug
Teeny tiny bug time: In the AIM link on the user profile pages, any screenname with a space character breaks the URL. For example, pikachu lolita's AIM link gets shortened to just "pikachu" when clicked on.
Easy fix, change space characters to plus symbols. In other words, change this to this.

Messaging System?
Instant Messenging.
Some sort of system via which one can leave short messages for any of the members here by clicking on their name, typing the msg and sending it. When the member comes online, he/she can find it via a new instant msg notifier.
DeskMod uses a system like that, although it's PHP based, perhaps there is a ColdFusion based system too.
Alternatively, you could just setup an ICQ/AIM messenging panel in the profile, from which one can send the member a short message.
