Titles are back, despite title font size being set to zero

I just noticed that setting the title font-size to zero in my user preferences no longer prevents titles from being displayed with posts. [more inside]

I Like Big Body and I Cannot Lie

Why doesn't: javascript:void(document.body.style.fontSize='200%') increase the font size of MetaFilter pages? [more inside]

what is the deal with the small and large tags on AskMefi?

I know this has been discussed already and even used as an excuse for the guys here to show off their font skills, but what is the deal with the small and large tags on AskMefi? They exist but there's no script or interface that lets a novice change the size of his or her font in the post? Is this a way of regulating some from emphasizing words? Just want some history here... Thanks.

I just updated Surfari and Mefi has gone all big on me

I just updated Surfari and Mefi has gone all big on me. The first beta meant adjusting to a smaller font for Mefi when compared to IE; now the two are identical in appearance. I miss that slimming look but a change to my user settings on Mefi has no effect nor does a change to Safari's preferences. Should I just move my chair back?

button to adjust font size?

Would it be possible to add a button to adjust the font size in the edit comments field? Similar to the Bold or Italics button, a "-1", so it's simpler to add asides to your comments. Having a "+1" would be bad, for obvious reasons. (also, there's a small bug -> inside (that -1 would have been useful here))

Can the stylesheet please be changed to not hard-code the point sizes for text?

This has to be an FAQ, but I couldn't find it anywhere:

Can the stylesheet please be changed to not hard-code the point sizes for text? I really would like to make the text smaller, and IE 5.5 won't ignore those absolute sizes. I hear Opera will, but I'm not ready to switch browsers.
