Time-zone custom settings don't work properly for AskMe or MeTa, you California-centric bastard.

B-b-but I have to add 2 to the time! It's annoying!

Westerners quietly adjust times figured in EST. Perhaps our math classes are better?

The code for The Grey and The Green are different than the code for The Blue. This is just one of the differences and possibly the hold up for the new design roll-out(?).

Someday one code will rule them all! Or something.

I'm still trying to decide which is goofier: having to do the math on the gray and green (and keep in mind that "PST" means "PDT" half the year, and "PST" the other half), or having to change my time zone on the blue to Chinese time during the summer because MeFi decides that if the server is in daylight savings time, EVERYBODY is going to be in daylight savings time, by gum!!
