I'm not certain this is something anyone here has control over, but there are a couple of things you may want to look into.

1) Change the media type from "application/atom+xml" to "application/xml" for any feed that is not Atom 1.0. In this case, both the RSS 2.0 feed and the Atom feed need to be fixed.

2) For the RSS 2.0 feed, change the date format from RFC862 to ISO-8601.

3) Upgrade the version of Atom from 0.3 to 1.0 because Atom 0.3 is deprecated.

Clearly, these are not major issues. The only real world implication that I can think of is RSS 2.0 feed readers may have trouble with parsing the date. The result would be all of the items would be stamped with the current date and time, which makes for a messy RSS feed, but certainly not an unreadable one.

It's a typepad thing, nothing I have control over.
