I'm gonna be fangirling in line for Harry Potter tomorrow night. Have a great time and take lots of pictures.

I'm in the process of moving OUT of L.A., and had intended to be taking a load of household essentials to SLOtown that afternoon. If I do make it, attendees will be the first to learn of the new House of Wendell which will always have a couch for visiting MeFites to crash on (assuming I can raise enough money at the meetup to buy a couch).

Well, fun was had... in attendance were me, scody, jonson and offmylawn, who graciously subsidized our alcohol and greasy food consumption. It turns out that scody and jonson have frighteningly similar taste in music. I mostly pestered people about what it's like to live in LA.
I hope that someone with better organizational skillz than me calls for another meetup soon so we can do it all over again and more people can join the fun!

And thanks to offmylawn for the beer and fries... and special thanks to jonson for being one of the few people I've ever met who understood completely and utterly why on earth I made a pilgrimage to Te Awamutu, New Zealand.
