best answer outside, not inside

This Ask me thread has the "Best answer" checked on the main page, but nothing is showing up in the thread. Just thought I'd let you know.

I see it. Probably the OP marked someone's answer as best by mistake, and then unmarked it. I seem to remember Matt saying something, somewhere, sometime about how it keeps the checkmark on the front anyway.

Hmmm. Supposedly, that was fixed. Maybe it was a deleted comment instead.

The best answer appears to have been deleted. It was a link labeled "42". I didn't click on it so I don't know where it went.

Yeah it was a "best answer" that linked to a google search for the number 42. I removed it and emailed the poster so he/she could choose a different best answer. I guess the flags outside the thread don't update.
