CSS is mildly messed up January 11, 2006 1:21 AM   Subscribe

Wish you hadn't closed this thread so quickly, #1. CSS is mildly messed up (in addition to continuing problems you've noticed before) after your header fix on the plain-text theme, at least in IE (which I must use at work).

And is there any chance of the plain theme extending to MetaTalk and AskMeFi? I like the plain.

I only use it at work 'cause I love the MeFiColors, but I've begged, I've pleaded, I've grovelled, I've offered sexual favours of a popular kind, and still no sitewide plaintext theme.

It worked perfectly in firefox though and only terrorists still use IE.

I also fixed user page stuff, preferences page stuf and other parts of the site that had hard coded styles with dark blue backgrounds. I'll take a look at it in win/IE today and see what I can do.

The new links show up as blue on Mozilla at work, which is top, but they're hard-to-read yellow on Safari at home. I don't know if that's been fixed too, but if not it would be great if it was.

I love the plain, me, and a second vote for it for MeTa and AskMe. Nowt screams "not working" as much as a page o' green.
