I'm a year short of legal age (well, in 12 minutes I am, anyways), but I'd be down for enjoying a Shirley Temple with MeFites at any 18+ institutions...

Im 4 months short of being legal but anywhere is fine with me, Britts Pub on the Mall is just easiest for me because its closer to where I live.

Is there any sort of meetup ettiquette I should be aware of? I checked the wiki but didn't see much.

Is it acceptable to bring an SO along?

I'm a year short of being legal to drink as well, and I'm at the U, so anywhere nearby is cool with me.

Well it looks a lot more promising now then it did earlier today. I would say I have an 80% of being able to come, but as I'm driving down from Duluth I'd need to know for sure it is happening. (hmmm wonder if panoptican would be interested in car pooling or something)

Dinkytown somewhere sounds doable. SOs are always welcome. SOBs on the other hand....... Anyways toss out minor friendly spots. Is the pasta bar any good?

I vote for the Pasta Bar, if Brit's is really unsatisfactory. I remember the Loring Cafe, and have heard that this place is the spiritual heir of that fine establishment.
That, and they serve booze there.
