MeFi Downtime

Just a warning - MetaFilter will be moving servers at the end of the month, which will be a down time of a couple days.

The funny thing is that I'm not actually moving the server's contents, but physically moving the server. So it will be down for a day, while I move it from one place to another, but then it gets a new IP address, and that means it will be a couple days more to propigate across the web. I'll stick temp pointers to the new site as soon as it's up, so the downtime should be only about one day (using a temp url). An added bummer is the new location might change soon after, which would require yet another dns change.

I know, I know, it sucks...sometimes I hate the dns system too.
