RSS Feeds for Posts? May 9, 2007 10:06 PM   Subscribe

Hi Mighty Admins (and MeFites). Just wondering if there are RSS feeds for posts? I've just recently discovered netvibes and it would be great if I could use RSS to keep track of posts. Of course, even better would be if I can get an RSS feed of my posts with an indication of how many comments are there. That way, I could quickly see if any new comments had been made, without having to add all these new RSS feeds everytime I make a post! Is this all pie in the sky, or is it do-able?

These don't exist. Bugbread repeatedly suggests co.mments.com for this purpose.

I repeatedly suggest a cursory glance at the Metatalk archives.

At the risk of being slapped across the head, it appears co.mments.com will track individual posts, but is there any way I can get an RSS feed to monitor the numbers in 'my posts' and 'my comments'? It would be nice to see:

Posts
Blah Blah Question - 20 comments in total

Comments
Blah Blah - 10 since your last comment

Quick glance at the RSS and I can check if anythings happening in the threads I've posted or commented on.

Even better would be the xx new part, but I think this is probably past the capabilities of RSS!

I like commentful. They do have an rss feed but it seems a bit slow. I mostly use the Firefox extension which takes me to a webpage that lists the threads I'm following and their additions.

I haven't used it in yonks, but MetaRSS might still be working.
