Playlist RSS pedantry: <link> might not be encoding special characters. This item isn't encoding as such in this playlist and is thereby horking up XML parsing.

Also, special MeTa fun bonus: the HTML "gt" and "lt" entities become the greater than and less than characters in "preview". Good times.

Yeah, we looked at the problem before, but couldn't figure out a fix. I think the encoding is ok on the xml files, but the player refuses it. Lemme update the player.

Of course the entities become themselves -- you're typing raw html, that's the whole point. If you want to say &lt; you type &amp;lt;.

I would only ever use numerical entities in an XML file, unless of course you were simply using Unicode, in which case only markup has to be encoded. I’d still stick with numeric.
