Copenhagen is an extraordinary city of note and repute. It deserves a meetup.
Your title...
The "hverken" directly translates as "neither", so the "ikke", meaning "not" is redundant.
In fairness I think it is very common to say that sort of thing in spoken language.
Of course me correcting the grammar of a sentence which specifically is about you not knowing the language is sorta anal and useless, but anyhow (can't come btw, not even if the straws are crazy straws...).

Yes, my Danish host/colleague told me approximately the same thing about my title before I posted it. I stand by my slightly improper and awkward decision, including the content of the title itself.
But I think the BrewPub sounds ideal. I'll put this on the meetups sidebar thing, and I look forward to seeing everyone there, including all sockpuppets, trivial or not, and including gnfti, who is tactfully reminded of the efficient, affordable, and potentially northbound nature of the European railway system.
How does 20.00 sound?

Well, I was perfectly serious about the new facial hair thing, and I'll also get there early and put up a sign with an arrow or something like that.

In my experience, the way we find each other is that somebody makes a sign that says MetaFilter. Also, you can look for the guy with the ridiculous facial hair (that would be gram), and the confused and jet-lagged American girl (me).
I can't make heads or tails of this place. Nobody pronounces things the way they are spelled. I ate pickled herring for breakfast this morning. And Curious George is Peter Pedal!
