NYC Meetup: Valentine's Day sugar-rush pregame.

Want to get your system ready for some sugar and sweets? Or just want to have a hassle-free hangout with people on the town before the infamous "amateur night" of Valentine's Day? Well c'mon down to the Cake Shop in New York's beaaaaaauuutiful Lower East Side where you can stuff your face with some cake (and other goodies). Vegan cakes also available. It's Feb. 9th, 6 p.m., Saturday, SATURDAY, SATURDAY.

I saw the guy she was talking about, and that guy was definitely one of us, because I don't think we're THAT good looking. So I'm pretty sure that was indeed you. I wish you would have stayed. I still have a Valentine bag and fat plastic hippo with your name on it!

Can I also say that I'm sad there are no pictures of rmless and I getting up and doing the "Soulja Boy" dance at Katz's? Video would have been even better; it would have captured the table next to us chiming in on the "YOOOOOOU" part.

I'm sad that I had to leave before that! My night consisted of the confusing ramblings of a drunken roommate who may or may not be heartbroken after a breakup. She's in London now and I couldn't manage to figure out the scenario before she took off.

Actually, Pink brought up that the guy we stared down looked like Anthony Rapp, and I agreed whole-heartedly. While I'd like to think it was Mr. President Steve Guttenberg Bible trying to totally act like it wasn't him because it's just so hilarious if it's true, the Anthony Rapp thing made me think of another even funnier possibility: WHAT IF IT WAS ANTHONY RAPP? That would totally explain the weird knowing look and smile/smirk the guy shot us that made us stare him down in the first place. He was probably thinking, "These kids totally know who I am. Allll riiight." However we were all just wondering if it was another MeFite.
