The MetaTalk RSS feed is showing MeFi front page posts. I'm using NewsGator, and this has only happened (last I checked) within the past 24 hours. Does anyone else have this problem?

It's not happening for me in Google Reader. posted by jacalata at 4:45 PM on April 25
Everything is working with the MetaTalk RSS feed on this end. You might double-check the URL: MetaTalk RSS, and it couldn't hurt to try unsubscribing/resubscribing to see if that clears it up. posted by pb at 5:00 PM on April 25
I just checked with Newsgator and it's not doing it for me. What specific Mefi post is appearing in the Metatalk RSS feed? posted by Brandon Blatcher at 5:01 PM on April 25
Brandon Blatcher: It's just doubling up every MeFi post posted in the past 24 hours (or when I last checked Newsgator). I'll try resubscribing. posted by divabat at 5:06 PM on April 25
ah, the feed's correct again! Resubscribing helped. (Wonder what happened though.) posted by divabat at 5:07 PM on April 25
If memory serves, when the server was down last Friday, a few people (including me) reported seeing MeTa's feed showing MeFi stories. And I seem to remember someone commenting that that the feed had been accidentally been giving out a "permanent redirect" code during the glitch. I wouldn't be surprised if NewsGator's caching plus the above-described weirdness was what caused it. posted by WCityMike at 5:24 PM on April 25
I had this same problem, also with NewsGator (NetNewsWire). It's not just the MeTa feed either; I had the problem with all of them. I'm pretty sure I resubscribed to all of them when this first happened just after the massage last weekend, and just now I resubscribed (I think a second time, but not sure) to the MeTa feed. posted by scottreynen at 5:25 PM on April 25
As I was writing the comment above, my MeTa feed just got confused again and started replicating the MeFi feed. So resubscribing is apparently only a temporary fix. posted by scottreynen at 5:27 PM on April 25
I'm struggling with Newsgator/NetNewsWire/iphone integration. I went to the newsgator forums; and left a message to support. A bunch of my feeds aren't updating..and it's something wrong (I think) with newsgator. I just sent off my subscriptions.plist to see if it clears things up. posted by filmgeek at 9:47 PM on April 25
