Last minute, late notice, totally overkill Boston meetup: In my continuing practice of showing up in a city immediately AFTER a meetup has been successfully held with beer'n'everything, I will be in Boston for the next few days, from Friday May 30 til mid-day Wednesday June 4. Anyone game for a couple beers sometime in there?

It looks like I have plans the night of Saturday the 31st and Sunday June 1, but every other night (so far as I can tell) is free, as are my weekend mid-days.

I'll be staying with friends near JP and will have T access but no car. I'd love a meetup for those so inclined.

I'm doing this on Saturday night as well, with a few non-Mefite friends but I'm pretty sure if people wanted to show up and grab drinks afterwards that'd be cool too.

mmahaffie, I'm going to be in or near Boston that weekend. What are you doing on the 7th? not_on_display's band is playing in Salem (nearbyish) maybe we can get a few MeFites to head over...? (sorry fuzzbean!)

Aieeee! Performance anxiety! I'd be glad to have anyone interested come by and see my band play ... 6/7/08, time unknown, probably 7-ish, Front Street Coffeehouse in Salem ... but this wouldn't be a meetup associated with this thread, if it is a call for a meetup anyway.

And unfortunately, I probably wouldn't be able to hit this meetup window, fuzzbean, but hope you attain critical MeFite mass during your stay here!

I'm bringing my 16-year-old up for a Bass-camp at Berklee. She's staying in the dorms and I plan to tourist my way round the city. I'll be staying in Newton and I have few firm plans. If the Red Socks are at home, though....

Well, I have a deadline this weekend, and Horace Rumpole & I will be out of town June 3-8, so I'm not sure we can make another meetup right now. But maybe later in June?

Well, meetup or no, if anyone's free tomorrow night and can get tickets to Mischief in the Machine, I highly highly recommend it. Tonight's show was sold out, and it was fantastic. (No, I'm not affiliated although my friends know a bunch of people involved with the production.)

Okay, here's the deal. A bunch of my friends and I are getting together for dinner at Namaskar in Davis tomorrow at 8. Mefites are absolutely invited to come join in the fun (please come! I miss my Mefitey peeps!), but I need to know how many will be showing up so we can update our reservation. Comment in thread or MeMail me and I'll tell you the name the reservation is under in case you show up early.
