broken posting - preview

When I hit preview the thread, well it thinks about that for a long while, then tells me that I'm duplicating just about every post ever.

My post itself is pretty innocuous (maybe not that great, but that's not the point):

There was a missing link in the version you posted here. What was that link? Also the last line is pretty crappy; if you do manage to post this, I'd suggest leaving that off.

OK that's just weird. I did not type or copy the html for the "16 Dec" link. I did double-post the link above it accidentally, but didn't insert any Mefi link at any time. Don't know how that happens. Will just restructure the post.

Your HTML: <a href="">16 Dec 2007</a>. Empty hrefs get parsed by most browsers as a link to whatever the current page is.

though burhanistan, there's actually not a hierarchy around here or votes on or off the island, except as dictated by the triumvirate. Just coz you spend lots of time on metatalk, doesn't mean anything. Anyway, enough with that.

I have no problems with IRFH, I have problems with twats that think this is a secret club, which it isn't. MeFi is a great place, ably run. Your contribution is...?
