I have a comment on the Popular Favorites page [Yay! me] Next to the favorite count it has [remove], even though I haven't favorited it.

If I click on the link using Firefox (2.0.0.14) it takes me to the 'favorite removed' page and back but it still has [remove] showing. If I click on the link using Safari (3.1.2), it takes me to the login page and back. OS X 10.4.11.

Frankly, I'm too timid to click "remove," lest it cause my short-lived nobody-else-cares internet-win to be revoked before I can get find (and don) my "I'm a Star" cap.

Why can't I add favorites from that page? ↓↓↓

um, tellurian, i think that's so that *i* can remove it from *my* favorites. if i'd marked it. which i didn't. then. but i just did now. and i'd click [remove] to prove that it's for the favorite marker, not the favorite receiver, but even though i'm a teeny bit jealous i revel in your revelry.

and carsonb, i really did just add tellurian's comment as a favorite, but i had to go to the actual post to do it.

tellurian, that was definitely a bug. The 'favorite removed' page hasn't been used since the first version of favorites back in '06. I removed the bad code so you shouldn't see [remove] anymore.
