Hey Metafilter, remember that time the NYC MeFites convened in Brooklyn and we chanced upon a wedding reception at the bar, and there was free champagne and desserts and fiddle-playing for everyone? And then Hot Pattata and TPS found a leprechaun's pot of gold and we all danced beneath a rainbow while showering each other with riches and jewels? Let us reprise this experience with an early December meetup.
Harefield did us well last time, but I'm willing to switch bars and boroughs to coax you out. Is the evening of December 5 or 6 okay?

I won't be back in the city yet. I will however, be dancing to the Cure and the Smiths in DC that weekend. It's a draw.

dame I ate there once and they forgot to take the plastic wrap off the chicken I ordered, it was buried in the sauce. I got another (plastic free) meal out of it. Try for the same!
