Vegas, baby! Meetup for CES attendees and locals?

I assume a bunch of y'all will be coming to town for CES next week, and I can't be the only one who lives here.

How about Saturday evening, January 10?

If you have any (non-smoking, please) places you love that would make a good meetup spot, please suggest them, otherwise I'll find something.

Also, I've never tried to schedule a meetup before so please let me know if there is any other protocol I should follow.

(Oh, for locations, even though most locals would probably prefer something farther away from the craziness, I'm think that we should probably try to stick with something not too far from the convention centers / Strip to make it easier on the out-of-towners since many/most won't have cars.)

If, like me, you're wondering where Vegas is, it's here. Contrary to this post's framing, it is not an isolated and sovereign nation floating in the air somewhere. It's in NV, Americia.

I would like to attend. Please pm me for more information. One place I recommend would be the Yard House at Town Square Mall. It is off of Las Vegas Blvd south of Mandalay Bay.

It's already a combination of a few other groups (WordPress, Twitter, and Social Media Club) so I'm sure they wouldn't mind if some MeFites crashed the party.

Unless someone objects strongly to this, I think we should just meetup there too.
