Mmmm... waffles and beer

Milwaukee meetup! mr. desjardins (aka empty vessel) and I would like to invite you to a brunch/lunch/whatever at our home on Saturday, April 3 (the day before Easter). We have a couple places to crash if needed.

The idea was spawned from this thread about theology, but everyone is welcome, including atheists (of which I am one). I am very happy to chat about other things.

We're in the Bay View neighborhood, one block from the lake, about a mile from I-94. If you have pet allergies, please note that we have two dogs and two cats.

I'm there. If it's okay with you guys, I'll leave after work on Friday with an ETA of around 9:30PM. If you've got an open couch, I'll be set, but I can make other arrangements if needed.

Since this is at our house, please RSVP so we know what we need as far as food. We're planning a brunch around 11, and y'all can stay as long as you like. Let us know if you're vegetarian and we'll accommodate as best we can. If you're vegan we'll need some guidance.

It went well. It was me, my husband, valkyryn, Madamina and her partner. We couldn't find the waffle maker, so we had pancakes (thanks valkyryn!), omelettes, quesadillas, blueberry muffins and hot cross buns (thanks Madamina!). Plus mimosas! There was a very civilized discussion about religion and stuff. I wore my tl;dr t-shirt but didn't have to point at it once.
