Why were comments deleted simply to protect the identity of a sock puppet account? Shouldn't that mistake cost you an extra $5?

I have no idea what you are talking about, can you be a bit more specific? Otherwise you'l ahve to wait for cortex to come on by.

I know what you're talking about, and I know the answer to your query... but I'm not telling. Wait for cortex.

I also have no idea what this is about. Can you link to the thread in question?

The general question of what alternate accounts are and are not for is a little complicated and context-specific.

Maybe.

Perhaps I'm just misinterpreting a wrong tab open SNAFU. But comments were deleted from the beginning of the Liz Lemon post.

If you're talking about the klnagklangston comment, which is my best guess, he is not the sock puppet of the person who made that post [or vice versa] I think he just posted in the wrong thread.

That was klang accidentally posting a late via in a thread other than the one he had meant to, yes.

jessamyn: "klnagklangston"

Ooh, ooh, was it klangklangston's sockpuppet? Most transparent sockpuppet name ever!

Apologies to all then. Perhaps I need more coffee.

We all need more coffee sometimes. No sweat.

I'm sure we all do.
