First I thought "Well, Washington is SO much bigger than Vermont! It just wouldn't be possible here."
Then I Googled it and learned there are 76 towns in WA and 205 cities and now I'm wondering how rude it would be to totally swipe the idea and set up a website for "The 281 Club." (Pretty rude, probably.)

Hey thanks everyone!
We really did manage to go to Lewis Vermont, population zero. It was not as difficult as it seemed at our attempt last year. n_o_d brought his guitar and sang me the birthday song he wrote [soon to be on MeFi Music]. We also hit Granby and Maidstone VT which means I have two towns left to visit in Vermont (I was wrong about there being six). Very exciting. Drove around some more. Saw a double rainbow [srsly!]. Had a great dinner at the Miss Lyndonville Diner. Now home with snacks and about to watch Anvil! (last night's movie MacGruber was only okay). I really appreciate the birthday wishes, I peeked in on them via phone when I could get service, which was sort of rarely.
