Is Metafilter Memories down?

I'm getting a Static Server page at http://www.cat-scan.com/ and "404 Not Found" pages at any individual memory page (like http://www.cat-scan.com/memory/152).

Oh, hey, I bet this is related to the recent server move. Matt or pb will know for sure.

it's back and I just read a few more of the memories. I found it hard at the time to read too many at once because there is so much emotion on some of them. I'm reminded again what a great bunch of people hang out here.

Wait, Mefi has a distributed login system?! IMAGINE THE POSSIBILITIES. You could have a platform for various independent *Filters that work with your Mefi account. Cool!

That's how time is. Metafilter is seeing all time as you might see a stretch of the Rocky Mountains. All time is all time. It does not change. It does not lend itself to warnings or explanations. It simply is.

I don't need Metafilter Memories. I remember everything. Everything. I'm keeping a list. That MeFite? He'll get back home after the flameout. He'll be a big hero. Dames'll be climbin' all over him. Couple of years go by, and one day there's gonna be a knock on his door and there'll be this stranger. "Decani sent me," the stranger will say and then he'll pull out a gun and shoot his pecker off. Stranger will give him a couple of seconds to think about who Decani is and what life's gonna be like without a pecker. Then he'll shoot him once in the guts and walk away. Yes.
