Joanarkham's second post is gone now so I can't compare, but when I had my pentapost the other day it was because I kept editing the comment before the screen refreshed and hitting post again. Since the text wasn't exactly identical the separate posts got through. Remember folks: once you hit post, you've sent your comment.

JoanArkham's double looked like it was an exact double, in the same vein as the problem that had supposedly been fixed. When I commented on it (snarkily), I had forgotten about the anti-double fix.

Since then, as noted, Matt's deleted the double, my snark about it and my later comments in the thread. I didn't think I was being that snarky.

Matt: please delete this comment by yhbc. It's too snarky.

Mine was totally my fault. I hit "post", noticed a spelling error, hit "stop" and re-posted. I though I could get it in time, but apparently not.

(It should be "learn", not "lean"...no good spell checking that one!)

Thanks for cleaning that up for me, Matt. And no offence taken on my part, yhbc.

Durn it, that should be "thought" not "though". *sigh*

the two comments were different, by one letter, hence, were posted twice.

It's when double vision kicks in things get tricky.

That happened to me too, JoanArkham. I thought if you hit Stop really really quick after hitting Post, it wouldn't post. I wuz rong.

What, you didn't get one? I'm sorry, it must be something special for the 14K group. It's right over there, by my pony.

We also each got an "Ignore Quonsar" switch, but I've had mine turned off lately.

Did someone just say something? No? Oh well, couldn't have been anything important.
